Marcy joins the Executive Team as Secretary for the Indiana Builders Association
Our founder, and proud mom to Beth and Karen, was elected as the Secretary of the Indiana Builders Association for 2023 and will be Treasurer for 2024. These prestigious appointments position her on the Executive Team, affording her a valuable opportunity to contribute to the strategic direction of our industry. In these roles, she has, and will continue to, play a pivotal role in shaping policies that directly impact housing affordability. “The Remodeler of the Year award is the Indiana Builders Association’s most prestigious award for remodelers. This year’s award recipient was Marcy DeShong with Midwest Remodeling Services in Pendleton. Marcy served as President of Madison County Builders Association this year and recently served on Pendleton’s Unified Development Ordinance Steering Committee, where she helped to establish a vision for future development while preserving the character of the Town. Marcy is a past chair of the Chamber of Commerce, youth summer camp leader since 2009, and volunteer at Second Harvest Food Bank. Marcy’s company has been Better Business Bureau complaint-free for 29 years and is an Angie’s List Super Service Award Winner. Congratulations, Marcy!”
